Nothing to see here...

The dog days of summer have been keeping the energy levels low, but not too low as to keep me indoors. I have been spending alot of time riding with Andy, training for a Hut Trip I wont be going on, and building some new trails. Funny nobody seems interested in joining us on our excursions, but then again we do have this entire network of trails to ourselves. Be on the lookout for an outlaw style stage race to go down out there in the next several months. We did some work this weekend clearing new trail, covered in briars and ended the day with no fewer than 10 punctures. Both of us had run out of patches during the day and rode home in the dark with leaks in our tires. I pumped up 6 times along the way and i think Andy 5. The mountain Morph has gotten such a work out these past couple of months that I have had to finally retire it and order a new one.

Roosting...

Sunday I woke up to lightning, rain and boomers. Drag. Where to ride in the rain? Pits is always a go as the trails are pretty much moto specific so we went back out to do more trail work. Andy lost a saw early on and we both lost motivation going back to look for it so we just took pictures. The rains filled the ruts with water and mud, so some sections were pretty much a boggy mess, but fun none the less. Do I need to say they arent IMBA approved? Here are some images...
